Hatem Ben Arfa? Ivory Coast Ace on his way!
After a week in the beautiful German capital of Berlin, I expected to come back to reality and to find Hatem Ben Arfa to be wrapped up on a loan deal to the toon… so much for that. Ben Arfa certainly doesn’t look destined to the toon. He was strongly rumoured to have snubbed NUFC to favour the German Side Werder Bremen but earlier this week Werder dismissed any interest in the troubled player. I [...]

Hatem Ben Arfa Saga… When Will It End!
According to the papers for the past week Ben Arfa has set his sights on the Premier league doing so with Newcastle United. Reports today suggest that might not be so true. The Marseille President was interviewed and denied that an agreement has being reached. Dassier told Marseille’s official TV station yesterday: “Newcastle are interested but, as of today, no agreement has been concluded.” Of course this doesn’t mean that Arfa isnt coming. Benny is [...]

Rangers 2-1 Newcastle United
It looked like Newcastle’s strongest starting line up was on show at the Ibrox today in front of a decent 30,000 fans. A very good turnout. Sadly, the home fans went home happy and confident with a 2-1 win. But this display against the SPL champions certainly wasn’t a bad one by Newcastle. Newcastle dominated the possession the whole match and looked very threatening in the opening 15 mines. Routledge and Gutierrez looked very lively [...]

Newcastle Win The Teresa Herrera Cup!
A solid performance by Newcastle United last night, snatched them a 5-3 win in a penalty shoot-out. After Collicini was brought down in the box Barton stepped up to the spot and wasted the glorious chance. Luckily for Barton he got a chance to redeem himself and score the winning penalty. It was a good display of penalties as Peter Lovenkrands, Kevin Nolan, Andy Carroll and Ryan Taylor scored all of theirs, followed by Barton [...]

Milan and Werder Bremen are said to be interested. Tough competition. On the pitch Arfa is fast, full of tricks and has good delivery he [...]
